Overview
Usually we have one featured Chef and restaurant, but for this dinner we have the whole compliment of Chefs from Pike's Peak Chapter of the American Culinary Federation (ACF).
The Chefs - Taking the lead for the dinner will be Chefs Brent Beavers of Aspen Pointe Cafe, formerly of Sencha, and Chef Richard Carpenter from UCCS. Chef Brent was ahead of his time when he opened his farm to table restaurant "Sencha", considered one of the best in the country, over 10 years ago in Colorado Springs. He now runs the cafe, catering and training for Aspen Pointe, helping troubled individuals get back on their feet by teaching them valuable culinary skills. A Grazing Life is honored Chef Brent is giving us the chance to experience his farm to table cuisine at our event! Chef Richard Carpenter an instructor at the Pike's Peak Culinary program is in charge of dessert. Chef Richard is considered the best pastry chef in the city! Save room for dessert! These two will also be backed by guest chefs from the ACF. This dinner will have a lot of diversity and will showcase the talents of many of the best chefs in our region.
The Wine - The dinner will be paired with Sette Dolori's Organic Sulphite free wine produced right down the road in Black Forest.
The Music - "Out of Nowhere" bluegrass will take the stage as dinner winds down. These guys bring a ton of energy, fun and passion to their music. It'll be an old fashioned hootin' nanny.
More than Just a Farm Dinner - As for every "Night on the Ranch" the evening also includes; full behind the scenes ranch tour, live local art demonstrations, local wine and spirit tastings, give aways, and more.
